Privacy
We collect only what you type into this form (topic, message, article link, and your name and email if you give them), the time it was sent, and a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address, which we use to limit abuse. The form does not store your IP address itself, and the code changes every day. Like most websites, our web server also keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting, and are deleted after 30 days. We use no tracking and no third-party services on this page.
Messages are read by the people who run this site and the automated tools that help them, to fix errors and answer questions. They are not published or shared. They are deleted after 90 days, unless one needs to be kept as the record of a correction. If an unusual number of messages arrives at once, the extra ones are set aside and deleted after 7 days unless we find a real one among them.
