practitioner ransomware extortion threat-intel initial-access

How ransomware and data-extortion crews actually get in: the access-broker, affiliate and leak-site ecosystem (NCSC and NCA)

The UK NCSC and National Crime Agency describe ransomware as a supply chain, not a single gang: stealers, access brokers and affiliates find the way in, a ransomware-as-a-service brand supplies the tooling and the leak site. What that means for defenders, why most victims are opportunistic rather than chosen, and why paying to stop a leak does not remove your obligations.
