Bathurst RSL Club (NSW) says a cyber incident has been contained, its gaming and membership management systems were not affected, and it is contacting people whose personal information was involved, according to Cyber Daily
The Bathurst RSL Club has confirmed it recently responded to a cyber security incident, Cyber Daily reported on 26 October 2026.
The club's CEO, Peter Sargent, told Cyber Daily: "Bathurst RSL Club is aware of claims made online by an unauthorised third party."
He said the club engaged specialist cyber security experts, the incident has been contained and the club continues to operate as normal, and that the investigation confirmed the club's gaming and membership management systems were not affected. "The Club has notified the relevant authorities and is contacting individuals whose personal information was involved directly. The Club will not comment on claims made by the third party," he said.
According to Cyber Daily, the club's confirmation followed the Qilin ransomware group listing it on its leak site on 22 October.
The club has not said what personal information was involved or how many people are affected.
